Our chefs cook every recipe from scratch in our Shropshire kitchen, using human-grade ingredients and a craft cooking process that's a world away from anything factory-made. Around 60% of every pot is meat or fish. The rest? Fruit, veg and superfoods. That's your lot – no grains, no gluten, no fillers taking up space where the good stuff should be.
The cooking process matters more than you might think. We brown the meat first, then build it up, root vegetables next, followed by fruit and soft leafy veg, finishing with the essential vitamins, minerals and superfoods. Cooking everything gently at low temperatures keeps the nutrients intact, makes the food easier to digest, and – if the dogs in our weekly taste tests are anything to go by, makes it pretty irresistible too.
The moment it's cooked, we blast freeze it straight away. No waiting around, no compromise on freshness. It then travels to your door via carbon-neutral delivery, arriving frozen and ready to go.
Pop one pot in the fridge to defrost overnight and the rest straight in the freezer. Once defrosted, a pot will keep in the fridge for up to 5 days. Kept frozen, they'll last up to 10 months.
