The time required to transition your dog from one food to another can vary depending on the age and sensitivity of your dog, as well as what food they are currently eating. In general, we recommend a steady transition over 7 to 10 days, starting with around 10% of Different Dog alongside 90% of their current food on day one, and building this up gradually day-by-day.
Here at Different Dog, we know that every dog is different, so if you have signed up for a Full Plan, we will include a personalised Transition Plan in your first box to help you during this time.
We encourage every owner to monitor their four-legged friends during their transition process, as some may require a longer, slower transition than others.
