Planning a holiday doesn’t need to be stressful, or mean your dog has to miss out on Different Dog mealtimes.
All of our recipes are freshly cooked in our kitchen and immediately frozen, so they’ll need to be chilled if travelling with them. We recommend keeping the box we deliver in and packing your meals tightly with the icepacks and WoolCool we provide. This should keep the meals chilled for up to 24 hours in relatively warm weather but don’t forget to pop them straight in the fridge or freezer when you arrive at your destination. Our meals stay fresh for 5 days in the fridge (7 days for our bone broth) so don’t worry if your accommodation doesn’t have a freezer.
Alternatively, you can change your delivery address to your UK holiday location in your Different Dog account or by emailing or calling our Customer Delight team. They can also help you place a smaller order just for the amount needed for your holiday and in smaller pots if you have limited storage space. That way you can get the food delivered to you and you don’t have to worry about transporting it. We deliver all around the UK, except the highlands and the Isle of Wight.
Unfortunately, at the moment we’re not able to send our meals overseas so if you’re unable to take them with you in chilled packaging, you may wish to login to your Different Dog account and delay your next delivery to make sure that you don’t end up with a box waiting for you on your doorstep for when you get home!
