Travelling with Different Dog

Planning a holiday doesn’t need to be stressful, or mean your dog has to miss out on Different Dog mealtimes.

As our recipes are freshly cooked in our kitchen and immediately frozen, they need to be chilled if travelling with them. We recommend keeping the box we deliver in and packing your meals tightly with the ice packs and insulation we provide. This should keep the meals chilled for up to 24 hours in relatively warm weather, but we recommend getting them back into the fridge or freezer as soon as you arrive at your destination. Our meals stay fresh for 5 days in the fridge, which is handy if your accommodation doesn't have a freezer. 

Alternatively, you can change your delivery address to your UK holiday location, provided it is within our delivery range, in your Different Dog account or by emailing or calling our Customer Delight team. They can also help you place a smaller order just for the amount needed for your holiday and in smaller pots if you have limited storage space. That way you can get the food delivered to you and you don’t have to worry about transporting it. 

Unfortunately, we do not currently ship our meals overseas so if you’re unable to take them with you in chilled packaging, you may wish to log in to your Different Dog account and delay your next delivery to make sure that you don’t end up with a box waiting for you on your doorstep for when you get home!
