Quite simply, no!
We get lots of questions about dental health and food. Our natural cooking process, together with the low carbohydrate content of our recipes means that our food contains a low level of simple carbohydrate (e.g. sugars) It is these sugars that can attack teeth regardless of whether the food is wet or dry.
We also add kelp to all our recipes, which is hypothesised to reduce dental plaque. Unfortunately, no diet can take the place of proactive dental care, however feeding our food and brushing your dog’s teeth or using oral gels from your vet is a good combination to contribute to optimum dental health.
