Once your order is processed, you'll get an email or text from DPD with your consignment number. From there, you can set your delivery preferences, add instructions for the driver or choose a safe place for them to leave your box if you're not in.
To do that, either click "Show my options" in your DPD email or head to dpd.co.uk/content/how-can-we-help/index.jsp and enter your reference number.
One important thing: please don't use the DPD site to change your address or delivery date. Any changes like that need to come through us, so get in touch as early as you can and we'll do our best to help if your order hasn't been collected yet.

The DPD app
If you can, we'd really recommend downloading the DPD app from your app store. It gives you a lot of useful options in one place:
- Pinpoint your address on a map or add a what3words location so the driver can find you easily
- Add a note or photo for the driver
- Let them know you need a moment to get to the door
- Set what happens if you're out, whether that's leaving it in a safe place, with a preferred neighbour or at a nearby shop for collection
- Track your delivery and view past orders using your consignment number
